Parlor Games. What would I recommend if I were Stephen Miller you ask? That's right, in my dreams I'm the analyst and not the candidate. So here's what I think the Samo Hi little shit is thinking right now. We need a huge fucking distraction that reshapes the conversation around a completely different narrative because the ones we're working today are doing what we need. People are voting and creating momentum so we need a way to put more emphasis on the vote on election day than early voting. We need a fucking conflict is what we need! Let's push the issue in the name of protecting the free waterways of the South China Sea's. We'll do something that we KNOW will provoke a response from China. And then we push hard to escalate a massive war of words. Two superpowers yelling at each other is the perfect Petrie dish for nationalism and nationalism is our strong suit. Everything we say and do will be to put the US on military footing. That gives us more freedom and control to create a raw sense of fear. Then we bash the early voting and suggest that only those who voted on November 3rd had the full American perspective when they voted. This would reshape the whole news cycle. Our monopoly on intelligence allows us to control the story that emerges. Biden wouldn't know what hit him. The election gets changed to be about one of protecting the USA . A masterful analysis.

There's only one problem. If I was advising on when to pull the "trigger" on this plan it would have been last week. For this game to play out as imagined would require something happening before the end of this week otherwise the result will be too baked in. In other words, any October surprise (this or some other disgusting self-interested disgraceful action) would happen this week or I suspect their might not be an 11th hour October surprise.
