New Mask Day. I bought a ten pack of medical masks. I used one for three months. Mostly it lives in my back pocket in case I need it. Mostly it stays in my back pocket because I don't need it too often. I think the only reason I threw the first one away was because it was both fading and a hole was emerging. Imagine the horror of a mask with a hole! The fresh mask was crisp on my face. The metal was pliable but firm in adhering to my nose. It smelled good (or at least better than my breath). I fresh mask day is a good day. Only 8 left in my 10 pack!

Blue Collar Man. It occurred to me that there are two kinds of jobs in this world. Yes, for decades we've described "white collar" and "blue collar" jobs. I think that this distinction no longer has much to do with the shirt you wear. It became a descriptor of "labor based" jobs vs. "brain based" jobs...at least I think that's the distinction. Well today there are jobs where you have to wear a mask and those that you don't. Forget the collar, today it's about the mask. Happy to be maskless as I work.
