Japan
On September 7, 2019 we set out on a journey to Japan. Our pocketbook optimized route took us through Los Angeles going and Honolulu returning. We stayed in Tokyo before taking the bullet train to Kyoto. The highlight? The food. We ate Japanese great food every day with no repeats. The sites in Japan may be less iconic than some destinations, but the culture is more distinct than most.
